Project Overview
A1 Duran Roofing completed approximately 300 sq. ft. of roofing and waterproofing work, installing a new SBS modified bitumen roofing system over the existing concrete deck. The roofing assembly included 1/4" cover boards adhered to the concrete deck, followed by one ply of SBS smooth-surface base sheet and one ply of SBS mineral-surfaced cap sheet.
The scope also included waterproofing of the interior parapet walls to provide additional protection against moisture intrusion. As part of the exterior improvements, our team removed corrosion from the existing roof access ladder and applied a new protective paint finish.
To improve roof drainage and long-term performance, A1 Duran Roofing also installed new 24-gauge galvanized steel gutters and downspouts with a mill finish. The completed work provides a durable roofing and waterproofing solution designed to protect the building and improve overall drainage and weather resistance..
