A1 Duran Roofing completed the reroofing of George Washington Carver Elementary School, replacing both sloped and flat roofing systems with a high-performance SBS modified bitumen assembly. The project included complete tear-off of existing roofing, substrate repairs, tapered insulation, stainless steel edge metal, flashings, and drainage improvements designed to enhance long-term roof performance.
Construction began on August 18, 2023, and was successfully completed on November 7, 2024. Throughout the project, our team maintained close coordination with the owner and project stakeholders to safely execute the work while minimizing disruption to school operations..
The scope also included replacement of scuppers, gutters, parapet flashings, pipe penetration flashings, equipment curbs, roof drains, and custom sheet metal components to provide a complete and watertight roofing system. Every phase was completed in accordance with project specifications and industry best practices.
